Location: Based in Belgium with telework flexibility, or remote from a compatible European time zone.
Start: early 2027.
Semactic is a leading European SaaS platform in Search Activation. Our mission: to enable marketing teams to transform SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) data into concrete and measurable results.
We combine a powerful and intuitive platform with expert support to improve brand visibility, both on Google and in AI-generated responses.
In a context of strong growth, we are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to refresh the user experience of our platform and make complex data clear and actionable for our clients.
Scope: UX/UI design, product analytics, AI-assisted design
Hybrid: flexible remote work arrangements, or a freelance mission of around 6 months
Experience: at least 5 years in a startup or SaaS environment
Languages: very good level of English required, French is a plus
Your role:
As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will own the experience of our platform end to end. You will start by assessing our current interface and leading its refresh, then extend your work into product analytics to understand how users navigate the platform and where they hit friction. You will work closely with the founders and the Product, Sales and Customer Success teams.
Your responsibilities:
Your main tasks will include:
- Auditing the current platform and proposing a clear, prioritized plan to refresh its UX and UI.
- Designing user flows, prototypes and interfaces that balance visual quality with usability and product goals.
- Turning complex SEO and GEO data into clear dashboards and reports that marketing teams can act on.
- Analysing user behaviour with session recordings and product data to identify friction points and measure the impact of changes.
- Iterating quickly with AI tools built on our design system, steering and reviewing the output rather than designing every screen by hand.
- Talking with clients and agencies to understand their needs and test new designs.
- Working hand in hand with developers to ship your designs and check the result in production.
You are the right person for us if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of UX/UI experience in a startup environment, ideally in B2B SaaS, with agile ways of working.
- A portfolio with several concrete projects showing how you balance visual polish with usability and product needs.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Design and other AI tools in your design workflow.
- Experience designing data-rich interfaces such as dashboards or analytics tools.
- Ability to work closely with product and business teams, and confidence talking with clients and stakeholders.
- A strong business sense; knowledge of search marketing (SEO or GEO) is a plus.
- A very good level of English; French or Dutch is a plus.
- Team spirit, autonomy, and sense of initiative.
